Barn Renovation - Adaptive Reuse

Originally a horse and dairy barn built in the 1920's, this spacious structure was converted into a modern and unique home. Many elements of the original barn were carefully retained to provide a reminder of the building's agricultural heritage. The original grain silo was creatively converted into an observation deck accessed by spiral staircase. All of the original, extra wide, dutch doors were restored as entrances and the oak horse stalls were reconstructed to create a family office area. The chicken house was turned into a studio/in-law apartment and site elements like the original water pump and milk house were restored and featured in the exterior landscape.
