St. Francis High School

Enduring Relationships

Schneider Architectural Services, PC and St. Francis High School in Hamburg, NY have been successful partners for two generations. When Harry Schneider was a young draftsman he worked on the school's original gymnasium and dormitory buildings as an employee of the firm Schmill & Hoffmeyer. When Jake Schneider was a student at St. Francis in the early 1970's, Harry began a professional relationship with the private boy's high school that continues today. These assignments included new buildings, renovation projects, site planning studies, energy studies, window replacement projects, brick pointing programs, painting and roof replacement projects, master plan services, and facility maintenance surveys. Projects included work in the school's administrative offices, classrooms, studio art space, laboratories, sports facilities, locker rooms, dormitories, friars' living facilities, and the historic renovation of the original chapel built by Fr. Justin in 1927. Most recently SDA helped create a new Academic Resource Center in the school's original library. This valued and lasting relationship has been built on a foundation of common beliefs and trust.
