Our work at the Tabernacle included the design of a new Multi-use Space to be utilized as additional pre-and post worship gathering space on Sundays and as a lecture hall and overflow meeting space during the week. The space was designed to accommodate the technology required to hold college classes though a pilot Distance Learning program in conjunction with a local Christian college.

Re-construction of an existing glass enclosed walkway which connects the Sanctuary, Administration and Daycare buildings with the Church’s Family Life Center was also a major component of this project. The existing walkway was cold in the winter, hot in the summer and was beginning to leak terribly. Our solution was to tear off the glass roof and walls and construction new walls and roof using the existing masonry “knee walls” as a base. This saved the Tabernacle cost while allowing them to preserve existing memorials that had been sold to raise funds for the original construction which had been set into the existing ceramic tile walkway floor.
