Schneider Architectural Services has been involved in many projects at Nardin Academy. From small renovation work, adding daycare, adding lifts to make the school more accessible, studies of the existing school and currently a capital expansion project.
The front entrance to Nardin Academy needed a fresh, updated appearance. Schneider Architectural Services achieved this with new aluminum doors, new floor finishes and new railings. The reception area was also completely transformed. The school’s logo was etched into the transom above the outside doors. These changes gave the vestibule and foyer a brand new look.
Two new additions were constructed to accommodate the school’s continuing need to expand. The additions were both to the elementary section of the building and to the high school side. The elementary addition consisted of new rooms for Student Support Services, Montessori, dance, and additional classrooms. The high school addition includes an emphasis on the fine arts. There is a new orchestra room and practice rooms as well as an art studio, new photography lab, dance studio, and multi-use classrooms. The Guidance Department also received a makeover and move into the new space.
