Located at 520 7th St on Buffalo’s Lower West Side, the Schaefer Malt House Lofts is an adaptive reuse of the former Schaefer & Brother Malting Company. Dating back to 1880, the beautiful historic building now features 35 character-rich apartments, many with lofted ceilings and rustic pillars.
The Schafer Malt House Lofts is an extension of the Community Beer Works project next door which connects to the apartments. SARC worked with Pitoune Development’s on the design for both the brewery and the new apartments.
Construction on the building began in 2019 with the building opening in the Summer of 2021.
